Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a Clinical Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage complex acute and chronic health conditions in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions as needed.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Document key components of patient progress via daily progress notes, transfer summaries, and discharge reports.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Nursing or related field.
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- BLS certification.
- Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
