Job Details
Registers and admits patients. Documents accurate and complete demographic information. Ensures the patient signs all necessary forms required by the hospital, and all regulatory agencies. Supporting Liaisons in processing of post acute patients through the process of preadmission.This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) adolescent, adult, older adult, frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Job Description
Must be a high school graduate.
Registration experience preferred. Good telephone skills to meet heavy phone volumes. Excellent hearing for speaking with persons of different dialects. Must be comfortable with disabled persons and the public. Must possess patience and tact to deal with stressful situations. Knowledge of computers or admission, discharge, and transfer systems.
