What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner position at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health?
Provides quality, patient-centered care to patients in Pre-admission Testing under the direction of the Director of Pre-Admission Testing or their designee.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Pre-Admission Testing or their designee
- Provide service to patients of all ages from toddler to frail elderly
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and training experience commensurate with the expectations of the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia. It is preferred that he/she has experience in inpatient anesthesiology, performing H&Ps, reviewing test results, and coordinating care with clinical colleagues.
CPR certification and a current, unrestricted license to practice in the State of New Jersey are required. Employment is contingent upon the granting of adjunct professional clinical privileges.
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
