Job Title: Faculty - Adult Gerontology-Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program
We are seeking a visionary and creative leader to join our team as a faculty member in the Adult Gerontology-Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Thomas Jefferson University's Jefferson College of Nursing.
About the Role:
This full-time employed faculty position is responsible for implementing nursing curriculum within the graduate program. Responsibilities include collaborating with nurse practitioner faculty, identifying needed resources, overseeing clinical preceptors and sites, and student placement and progression.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nurse practitioner faculty for course planning and projections
- Identify needed resources and oversee selection of clinical preceptors and sites
- Ensure academic integrity in areas of planning, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum
- Advise students, participate in curriculum development, program evaluation, teaching, and evaluation of student achievement
Requirements:
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) required, Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Doctoral degree preferred; Master's degree in nursing or related discipline from an accredited college or university required
- Eligible/current for licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience
- Innovative teaching methodologies, curriculum development, evaluation, and supporting students in their journey to become advanced practice nurses

This is a salaried position with a generous benefit and retirement program. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience. Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
