A04684Reporting to the Manager Clinical Nutrition Patient Services, and under the general direction of the Associate Director Nutrition, the Nutrition Services Office Associate coordinates and communicates all information pertinent to patient meal service in accordance with Nutrition Department policies and procedures. Patients served may range from infancy through the life span.Processes nutrition orders and tray tickets with 100% accuracy to ensure accurate and up to date nutritional needs are provided. Multitasks in the diet office to ensure meal service is efficient and running on time. Set up register with cashier to ensure that daily till is correct. Answer all phone calls from patients to assure all needs are met.Cross-references and manually enters patients diet allergies from Sunrise electronic medical record.Calls patients to inform them of menu changes whenever able. Manually enters patients menu selections for patients with multiple diet restrictions and assures selections fall within nutritional parameters for the restrictions.Maintains sufficient supplies of menus and forms in office at all times to facilitate efficient services. Coordinates and collaborates with Concierge, Hosts, Hostesses, and tray line staff to ensure smooth departmental operations.Participates in and attends all department in-services to maintain department operating standards. Assist in the dishroom where necessary to maintain job flow with clean and sanitized dishes and pots.Performs other duties as assigned.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Previous nutrition office experience preferred, but not required.Work Shift
