Job Summary:

Join the mission of Improving Lives as a Per Diem Wound Care RN - Clinical Nurse Educator at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. As part of Jefferson Health, the largest health system in the Philadelphia region, you will play a vital role in advancing patient care, providing education, and ensuring best practices in wound management.

• Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing staff and students.

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and determine treatment plans.

• Provide specialty bed therapy, wound care, ostomy, and incontinence care.

• Apply nursing theory, education, and research to coordinate and implement wound care education programs.

• Collaborate with Education Specialists to design, coordinate, and evaluate competency-based nursing education.

• Participate in the development and implementation of clinical pathways and care coordination strategies.

• Ensure compliance with evidence-based wound care practices and hospital policies.

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree (MSN) preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in wound care.

• Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (CWOCN) from the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) preferred.

• Experience managing pressure ulcers, complicated surgical wounds, and other wound care needs.

• Strong knowledge of wound management, patient education, and clinical best practices.
