The Service Advisor plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position involves greeting customers, assessing vehicle concerns, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring clear communication throughout the service or repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers, address their concerns, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Communication: Serve as the key liaison between customers and technicians, providing clear and accurate updates.
- Workflow Management: Track vehicle service progress, manage technicians' schedules efficiently, and keep customers informed.
- Sales & Profitability: Identify sales opportunities and implement promotions to drive revenue and enhance profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet company standards through thorough quality checks.
- Process Improvement: Assist in developing and refining standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
- Driver’s License: Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience & Training: Prior experience as an automotive service advisor is preferred. Training in customer service, advisory skills, and quality control is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English proficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions effectively.
