Description of the role:
The Service Technician KIA at Thomas KIA of Highland roles are performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on KIA vehicles.
NOTE: We have plenty of Customer pay, Used Cars, Certified Cars and Warranty work for you to book 40 to 60 hrs a week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance and repair tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups
- Determine vehicle issues and accurately diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Communicate with customers and provide recommendations for additional repairs, when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with Hyundai and KIA vehicles
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Adequate knowledge of vehicle handling and control functions
- Familiarity with electronic systems and computerized diagnostics
- Ability to handle various tools and equipment correctly
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
