Thomas Mechanical is one of the fastest growing Mechanical Contractors in the Upstate of South Carolina. We are taking on more projects and looking to expand our team by hiring a Project Manager to work in a collaborative, team-first environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Project Manager with Construction and HVAC experience to immediately join our team. The Project Manager oversees all activities pertaining to the assigned projects including budget, scheduling, material procurement and supporting field crews. The Project Manager will be able to communicate with customers and resolve any questions about HVAC installation. The Project Manager should understand construction project management from start to finish.
ABOUT YOU:
You have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service (both internal and external customers). You can seamlessly manage the planning, scheduling, executing and closing out construction projects as well as generating new commercial HVAC sales from legacy and new customers. You are driven, organized, and take a proactive approach to anticipating and addressing project needs. A true team player, you collaborate seamlessly with our team and customers to ensure smooth project completion. You manage time and resources effectively to meet deadlines and keep projects on track.
Ideally, you have 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager. As an added bonus, you have HVAC and Estimating experience too, though a lack of HVAC specific experience is not a disqualifier.

PREFERRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of direct project manager experience (2 years required)
- Relevant degree or training from university, community or technical school or equivalent industry experience
- HVAC and estimating experience
- Great driving record and clean criminal background check
