Title:
Sales Representative – Thomas Moore Feed, Navasota, Texas
Thomas Moore Feed is seeking applicants for the position of Sales Representative. The company is a manufacturer/wholesaler of complete feeds and supplements for all livestock and wildlife species, as well as wild bird seed. The business has a strong regional presence with distribution in Texas and surrounding states.
Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for acquiring and developing relationships with customers in a designated area and facilitating product sales to those customers. Duties include but are not limited to product sales, customer service, training and support of feed dealers, analysis and reporting of sales performance, and providing customer feedback. It will be the responsibility of the Sales Representative to effectively communicate customer service issues to operational personnel and work to resolve problems. The position will include base salary plus commission and be in the range of $45,000 to $100,000 annual compensation depending on qualifications and sales performance. Additionally the company will provide a vehicle, computer, and travel expenses for this position. Benefits are comprehensive and include health coverage, paid sick-leave, paid vacation and 401K.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
· Visit customer locations and communicate product information and pricing; work with office personnel to facilitate orders and shipping
· Develop strategies and goals for sales and ensure those goals are met through a process of continuous improvement
· Work with production and quality assurance personnel to ensure customer service issues are communicated and resolved
· Maintain income and expense budget
· Training of feed dealers and their staff on product information
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business or relatable field
· Experience and/or ownership of cattle or horses is preferred
· Experience working with a team as well as planning and executing strategy, marketing, and promotions is preferred
· Basic computer skills (use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
· Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
