Food Service Cafeteria Worker 3.5 Hours 

  • Performs a variety of duties related to the school food service program, to maintain food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition
  • Set up serving areas and steam tables; serve food to students and faculty
  • Count milk and other food items as assigned.
  • Adhere to safe and sanitary working practices and procedures. Must take “Safe Serve” course within first 6 month probation period. (Non-substitutes)
  • Collect money and make change. Use a cash register effectively
  • Assure food items and supplies are stored properly
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager
  • Must be able to stand for duration of work shift
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instruction
  • Communicate both verbally and written with students and adults effectively
