Position Status : Full Time, Hourly, 40 hours per week

JOB GOAL :

The Thomas Road Social Media Manager is responsible for the management, and engagement on all Thomas Road social media platforms. To ensure Thomas Road's Mission is promoted and lived out on all platforms.

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position will serve as a vital member of the TRBC Creative Team. The social media manager will handle the execution and daily tasks of TR social media needs. This includes posting, responding to direct messages, and curating story content. This role is designed for an individual who is creative, critical thinker, can react quickly, has an eye for detail, and can take initiative on new projects and new ideas.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
• Manage and oversee social media content
• Connect those who reach out to various ministries and opportunities in the church
• Measure the success of every social media campaign
• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
• Work with Director of Content and Art Director to ensure content is informative, appealing and accurate
• Collaborate with Thomas Road Ministry Teams
• Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization
• Onboard and train volunteers to assist social media initiatives
• Provide constructive feedback
• Attend church weekly and cover at least one service on Instagram stories
• Attend church events upon request to run event day social media coverage
• Anything else supervisor might ask
