Join our team as a Human Resource Generalist and make a difference! Our specialty, Employee Owned, magnet manufacturing business is looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves variety but most importantly, is motivated by the desire to make difference. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years Human Resource experience working in a manufacturing environment. You'll be the point person providing service to our employees. Other responsibilities will include:
- Participating in the recruitment efforts, posting jobs, organizing resumes and applications, scheduling and assisting in the interview process.
- Collecting employment and payroll information, preparing new employee files, overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation and orienting new employees to the organization.
- Processing payroll including tracking of all time off, responding to payroll questions, ensuring all benefit elections and other withholdings are set up properly, facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors.
- Participate in annual open enrollment, assist employees with their benefit questions and ensuring election information is completed timely.
- Provide support and guidance in conflict resolution.
- A Thomas & Skinner HR Assistant will have the following qualities:

- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally to communicate with employees, the HR management team and in group presentations and meetings.

- Must be able to work efficiently by prioritizing and planning work activities.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.
