Videographer and Editor - *Onsite* Fort Liberty, NC

Thomas Solutions Incorporated is looking to provide Videographers, subject matter experts (SMEs) in multi-media production to support the mission of 3rd POB at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Position requires a Top Secret Clearance with SCI

Job Summary

The objective of Multimedia Support positions is to assist with the creation of multi-media productions with the highest quality of techniques and applications across all types of media platforms – Internet, TV, Radio, and Print.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage and execute every phase of motion picture production in order to bring it from concept to a final level of quality consistent with professional broadcast standards for mass consumption.
• Videographer shall take broad conceptual guidance from stakeholders and use their expertise, broadcast experience, and judgment to develop proposed television programming and to recommend the best approach to complete the task through the knowledgeable budgeting of available resources.
• Provide recommendations for Government approval on all matters pertaining to the development, planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of video program requirements.
• Provide expertise for moving image production and provide oversight of contract support and long-term continuity for the management of video support to PSYOP and the 1st Special Forces Command Public Affairs Office.
• Interact with clients, evaluate client needs, conceptualize, design, and produce television and motion picture productions with creative direction, lighting direction, cinematography, music, sound effects as well as commercials public service announcements, shorts, and feature-length productions of complex nature, technically suitable for delivery on a wide variety of platforms, and prepped in accordance with all industry standards necessary for foreign distribution
• Videographer travel to various regions of the world (CONUS and OCONUS) in the event that it is necessary to complete a mission or discuss capabilities with other potential clients requesting PSYOP support. Personnel must also possess a current passport to travel abroad.
• Videographer shall use a wide variety of art media, techniques, principles, and technical equipment to determine the best method of portrayal, style, and format including order and amount of detail based on knowledge of purpose, coverage and intended audience.
• Create the overall look and feel of a wide range of interactive communication products utilizing text, data, graphics, sound, animation, and other digital and visual effects.
• Work on projects such as internet sites, electronic games, online learning materials and interactive television.
• Provide creative assistance in selection of props and sets as to specialized needs, color schemes, tonal value and realism with consideration for potential audio problems, camera angles, reflective quality and light requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• The videographer shall have experience in all phases of feature-length program creation including but not limited to development, pre-production, production, and post-production activities; be experienced at operating field and studio audio visual equipment, configuring and operating advanced video camera systems, operating editing equipment and post-production software packages to create network-quality programs of varying lengths.
• Possess knowledge of computer technology and the technical processes
• The ability to edit with Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Adobe Premier and Media Encoder on both large- and small-scale projects, an understanding of software that supports interactive media design, experience in studio productions and script writing.
• The videographer shall have a working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Possess a current passport in order to travel abroad.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in the discipline areas of Performing Arts/Multimedia/Communication
• And four (4) years of experience in the respective field.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
