- Create and enforce nursing policies and procedures.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
- Ensure adequate nursing staff levels and that their skills are up to date.
- Supervise nursing staff behavior and professional conduct.
- Stay aware of all incidents and events within the facility.
- Evaluate and address the healthcare needs of each resident.
- Current State RN license.
- At least 5 years of experience in long-term care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Proven strong leadership and supervisory skills.
