Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets while maintaining and nurturing existing relationships.
- Conduct direct sales calls and presentations to targeted customer segments across the designated market area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Engage in ongoing product training and stay updated on industry developments to provide expert insights to clients.
- 3-5 years of proven success in Outside Sales, preferably within the HVAC or industrial rental market.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
- Willingness to spend 90% of time in the field (travel) engaging with clients.
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial product sales, particularly within the HVAC rental industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, including their functionalities.
- Knowledge of the construction contracting and engineering processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with Healthcare, Higher Education, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Commercial Real Estate is desirable.
- Competitive drive and a commitment to achieving sales objectives.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficient problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
- Strong organization and follow-through skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Excel, Windows, Outlook, CRM systems, and other relevant software.
