JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST

PRIMARY ROLE
Thomasville Restoration’s vision is to be the #1 Home Restoration company in the Mid-Atlantic Region. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing your accounts and processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and creating a strong relationships with our customers to collect revenue. Your attention to detail will be most important to ensure we have a great cash flow in supporting the company's growing business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates to ensure targets are achieved related to delinquent balances and average days-to-collect.
- Monitor job completion status and request payments from third party administrators, insurance carriers and other external stakeholders in accordance with each parties’ respective policies and procedures.
- Assist homeowners in navigating mortgage companies’ loss draft processes and paperwork.
- Conduct outbound collection calls in a professional manner, build rapport with customers, and ensure every interaction with customers/clients leaves a positive impression of Thomasville Restoration.
- Identify issues contributing to account delinquency and collaborate with estimators, project managers, and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
- Drive resolution of any customer/client discrepancies and short payments.
- Develop repayment plans and process and review account adjustments.
- Update account status records and collection efforts in our system to ensure conversations, agreements, and action plans are documented.
- Assist in identifying and implementing opportunities to continually streamline our billing and collection processes.
- Produce periodic reporting on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
- Perform other tasks and duties as necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years of accounts receivable or collections experience, preferably within the construction and/or restoration industry.
- Solid work ethic, high integrity, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail & accuracy.
- Motivated, self-starter who is professional and possesses a passion for making things better.
- Commitment to protect confidential information related to our customers and Thomasville Restoration.
- Ability to work independently, perform in a fast-paced environment, adapt to a rapidly growing business.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize your work.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and co- workers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
