JOB TITLE: LEAD WATER MITIGATION TECHNICIAN

Impact Statement: A Lead Technician is the second in command when the mitigation team arrives on site. You will assist the Crew Chiefs with preventing any additional damages when members are experiencing a loss. You help protect the homeowner’s and business owner’s investments by foreseeing potential problems and implementing drying strategies. You will help alleviate the stress and anxiety that homeowners might experience during the mitigation process, allowing them to focus on other aspects of their lives. You will help put their home and lives back together.

To help achieve this goal and support our growth, we are adding a Lead Water Mitigation Technician to our family. This position offers the opportunity to Help Families Put Their Homes and Lives Back Together by providing the Thomasville Touch to our customers who have recently experienced a loss.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to service calls as needed.
- Perform services as assigned, following Thomasville Restoration guidelines.
- Communicate with crew chief and technician to make sure all customer needs are met.
- Support crew chief, field technicians, and other production personnel, as needed.
- Monitor all assigned jobs to ensure drying standards and customer needs are met.
- Complete job according to crew chief’s scope.
- Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas, as needed.
- Communicate with crew chief and/or technician regarding customer needs and successfully meet those
- On-call rotation and mandatory on-call for qualifying events
- Supervise production technicians and temporary laborers.
- Train production technicians on production processes, IICRC standards, equipment maintenance and customer service.
- Assist crew chief with making sure production direct costs are maintained, as set forth by Thomasville
- Restoration.
- Team members should take ownership of their job responsibilities. Identifying ways to be more efficient is also an important part of this position. b. Handle recurring and unique tasks, as necessary.
- Handle other tasks and duties as business needs require.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Disaster Restoration Experience (Min 1 year, multiple preferred)
- Valid Drivers License
- IICRC Certification Preferred
