RECONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR

PRIMARY ROLE

Reconstruction Estimator with experience writing fire and water losses. Servicing Philadelphia, Wilmington, Dover and Chester Counties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect and determine the appropriate scope of repairs.
• Responsible for scoping, estimating, and selling insurance and property restoration losses to residential and commercial properties that have been affected by fire, water, storms, wind and hail.
• Utilize Xactimate on a daily basis/Experienced with Symbility.
• Work closely with insurance companies, insurance adjusters, clients, customers, and all other parties involved in claims and establish a good rapport with all parties and determine appropriate plans to get the residence or building back to pre-loss condition.
• Documentation of claim files skills and communication with co-workers and customers
• Good customer communication, project coordination, project execution including management of in-house equipment and resources.
• Considers and understands problems and identifies appropriate solutions.
• Knowledge of Insurance Industry
• Must be able to access roofs by ladder.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Reconstruction estimating experience
• 2 years of experience as a construction estimator within the insurance restoration industry
• 2 years of experience and proficiency with Symbility and Xactimate estimates and crafting proposals.
• Have previous experience with Fire, Water, and Mold damage restoration.
• Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers and vendor.
• Strong Computer Skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License without any major violations in the last 5 years.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
