Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and the ability to work independently while supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Process payroll and manage employee records in compliance with HR policies.
- Utilize QuickBooks software to track expenses, revenues, and other financial data.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as needed.
- Maintain organized files for all financial documents and transactions.
- Keep state sales tax rates up-to-date for all customers; file/pay state sales tax as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and office management.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and principles is essential.
- Experience with payroll processing, state and federal withholding, sales and use tax.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks, MS Word, MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial and customer data.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
