Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida and Tennessee. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. What will you do as a Operations Director for Prevention Services?

• As an Operations Director for Prevention Services in the Prevention Services department, you will lead a team of leaders who head up programs such as Friends of the Children, Family Education, High Fidelity Wrap, School based case management and early childhood education.
• A typical day as an Operations Director for Prevention Services will include holding leaders accountable to programmatic excellence such as meeting program impact, coaching leaders for culture, must be data driven.
• The Operations Director for Prevention Services needs to lead by example related to facilitating positive high performing team culture.
• As a Operations Director for Prevention Services, your work schedule would typically be Monday-Friday 8-6

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
• Education requirements for a leader of leaders in programs is a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Position is considered hybrid/remote in North Carolina Only
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills. Meets designation as a Qualified Professional in NC.
  
  

As a Leader of Leaders, this role’s minimum qualifications are:

• Verified 3 years of successful previous leadership experience
• Verified 3-5 years of experience working in foster care or adoptions as a leader
• Displays the capacity/coachability for future growth and development as a leader
