What will you do as a Quality Improvement Specialist?
- As a Quality Improvement Specialist you assist programs in maintaining compliance with internal and external standards as well as supporting Continuous Quality Improvement efforts for the organization.
- A typical day as a Quality Improvement Specialist will include documentation reviews, facilitation of external audits, incident reviews, trainings, and meeting with program leaders regarding findings, issues or concerns. As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will work a Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm schedule with some flexibility as needed.
- As a Quality Improvement Specialist you will assist with Facilitating and Coordinating trainings for the organization. May require some travel to SC and Florida locations. Strong Training Facilitation Skills.
- Starting Pay Range: $48-$55k annually

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Maintain active Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM) Certification with Florida Certification Board.
- Education requirement for this individual contributor role is a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must have 3 years Behavioral health/Human service experience.
- Knowledge of Medicaid standards, Child Welfare/Dependency System, Continuous Quality Improvement, and regulatory compliance required.
- Experience with conducting investigations of grievances and knowledge of Council on Accreditation accreditation standards preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent time- management, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) you lead
- All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.

Salary : $48,000 - $55,000
