Housekeeper

Position Description

Responsible for maintaining all areas of the job site in a clean and sanitary manner to enhance the work environment and create a positive impression for customers and visitors. This is to be completed in a safe and timely manner with the best quality possible.

Job Responsibilities

• In the foyer, lobby, offices, kitchen, conference rooms
• Clean all tables and chairs
• Clean all window ledges, dust furniture, pictures, doorways, etc
• Spot clean walls
• Vacuum carpet and mats (as needed)
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners (wash weekly)
• Clean all glass doors
• Clean coffee area and sinks
• Clean refrigerator as needed
• In the restrooms and hallway
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners
• Clean sinks, toilets and urinals
• Clean mirrors, walls and partitions
• Replace hand towels and toilet paper (as needed)
• Refill soap dispensers (as needed)
• Mop floors (as needed)
• Special tasks on weekly basis
• Window cleaning (interior and exterior) front and back of building
• Dust stair railings, beams, light fixtures, pictures and furnishings
• Mop hardwood and stone floors biweekly or as needed
• Doors (interior and exterior frames as needed)
• General cleaning as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience working in the housekeeping or janitorial field.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor.
• Must be able to utilize basic math.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively
• Work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments
• 40 or more hours per week with possible weekend work
• Background check and drug screen based on job location/requirements
