Primarily serving state and local government agencies that have been impacted by natural disasters, we have assisted our clients with the recovery of more than $4.5 billion in federal funding.
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Financial Data and Claims Analyst to join our team. The Financial Data and Claims Analyst will be responsible for data entry and analysis, bookkeeping and financial reporting. You should also advise our senior management team on potential strategic decisions in alignment with business objectives and legislation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cost analyses
- Participate in regular reconciliation audits and recommend corrective financial action plan
- Generate A/R invoices ensuring contractual compliance.
- Receive and verify incoming bills, log into accounting system ensuring proper job costing accounting, and ensure timely payment.
- Manage audits for state UIC, insurances, etc.
- Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans
- Advise our senior management team on financial planning
- Create forecast models based on current and past financial results
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst or relevant role
- Accounting Degree or background, with minimum 2 year experience preferred.
- Strong MSOffice skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with finance and statistical analysis software.
- Possess excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while performing different types of tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)
