What are the responsibilities and job description for the GFEBS Analyst in AFRICOM position at Thompson Gray Inc.?
Thompson Gray, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM). The potential candidate must be flexible to work full time in Germany. A candidate must have previously supported GFEBS help-desk operations in order to be considered for this position. A successful candidate must have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills and experience.
Job Duties:
Respond to and solve user inquiries regarding GFEBS functionality, errors, and processes
Provide step-by-step guidance for troubleshooting system-related issues Monitor system performance and report any anomalies
Provide users with on-site and virtual training on auditable GFEBS processes as needed Develop and update user guides, SOPs, FAQs, training products, etc.
Generate reports on helpdesk performance recurring issues
Train Government employees on GFEBS processes Assist in testing system updates, patches, and upgrades
Ensure compliance with Army regulations and policies
Generate reports on helpdesk performance recurring issues for process improvement
Employ audit tools, software, and financial management systems used by the Army for tracking and analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a US citizen and have a SECRET clearance.
Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management, or a related field with 3 years of experience.
Must be able to clearly communicate with all levels of an organization to include senior military and civilian personnel.
Must be able to travel and work in Germany full-time.
Technical Proficiency
In-depth knowledge of all functional areas in GFEBS/GFEBS-SA
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Service Now and ADVANA
