Test and Evaluation Engineer
Location : Orlando, FL (PEO STRI)
Security Clearance : TS-SCI (Required)
Experience : 10 years of relevant test and evaluation experience, or 5 years of other relevant experience.
Work Schedule : Hybrid, In office 2 days a week
Job Summary :
PEO STRI is seeking a highly skilled Test and Evaluation Engineer to support its efforts in delivering advanced simulation, testing, and training solutions for military operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in network design, monitoring, and optimization, along with test and evaluation experience in environments like ATEC (Army Test and Evaluation Command) and beyond. An Agile certification is also highly desirable for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead test and evaluation efforts across mission-critical systems, ensuring systems meet required performance standards.
- Implement and manage testing protocols focused on redundancy, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network issues using state-of-the-art network monitoring tools and techniques.
- Ensure robust network security, scalability, and architecture are integrated into test and evaluation practices.
- Optimize network protocols, architectures, and configurations to ensure system efficiency, including expertise in IP addressing and subnetting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and operations teams to develop comprehensive test strategies and evaluation plans.
- Develop detailed reports and recommendations based on test results for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security protocols and standards.
