Main Function :
- Provides clinical medicine services and applicable administrative services to F.F. Thompson
Hospital Urgent Care patients.
Provides consistent, high quality care consistent with accepted national and / or communitystandards.

Recognized competence in outpatient clinical medicine. S / he must have the ability to assessdata reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify
each patient's requirements relative to her / his age-specific needs and provide the necessary
care.
Demonstrates knowledge necessary to ensure care appropriate to the age of the patient. Thisincludes demonstration of knowledge and principles of growth and development over a life
span.

Responsible for ensuring all professional licenses, registrations, liability insurance educationand renewal requirements and applicable physician certifications are up to date and current as
required for employment.

Qualifications :
Active NYS certification / registration as a Nurse PractitionerBLS, ACLS required. PALS recommendedDEA license requiredAble to gain appropriate FFTH privilegesEducation :
Graduation from an approved school as a Nurse PractitionerMeets continuing education requirements of the applicable discipline boardExperience :
Previous experience as an NP preferred particularly in urgent care or emergency medicinePrevious experience in primary care medicine preferredPay Range : $62.00 - $70.00
