Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and thank them upon leaving
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and point of sale (POS) systems
- Handle cash, credit, or electronic payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers in locating products
- Promote special offers or discounts
- Upsell products when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in retail sales is a plus
- Knowledge of jewelry sales is advantageous
- Ability to effectively sell products and services
- Familiarity with cash registers and retail math
- Experience in wireless sales or technical sales is beneficial
