Overview:
ThompsonMcMullan, P.C. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our Richmond, VA office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in personal injury defense, managing case files, working with federal and state court systems, and representing insurance companies and their policyholders. Experience should include obtaining and summarizing medical records, scheduling trial deadlines and issuing subpoenas. Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining a high level of accuracy in written and verbal communication. This is a full-time, non-exempt and in-office position. Work hours are 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday-Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
Job Qualifications:
- 2 years of related work experience in a legal setting
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to flex as required to meet the need of the hour
- Lift up to 25 pounds
