What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney position at Thompson Miller & Simpson PLC?
This attorney will manage litigation cases on behalf of healthcare clients by conducting discovery, taking and presenting witnesses for deposition, and trying cases. This individual will interact directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to clients and assist partners in all aspects of litigation from investigations to appeals
- Maintain client relationships
- Draft pleadings, reports, etc.
Qualifications
- JD, licensed in Kentucky, Indiana license a plus
- 2-10 years of experience in litigation, malpractice and/or products liability experience a plus (pay and responsibilities commensurate with experience)
- excellent writing and interpersonal skills
