Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. As the first and last impression of the Thompson hotel, this high-profile role carries a special responsibility.
- The Bell Attendant transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals and transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into temporary storage.
- The Bell Attendant also provides arriving guests with a hotel orientation.
- Greets all guests passing through lobby and offers them assistance
- Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-up
- Assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
- May perform errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property
- All other duties as assigned by leadership

- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.
