Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sheet Metal Shop Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in fabrication and industrial maintenance and be able to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Metal Fabrication and Welding:
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick techniques.
- Fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous iron components.
- Equipment Operation:
- Use a break for metal forming and shaping.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Measurements and Specifications:
- Accurately read and interpret tape measures and other measurement tools.
- Industrial Maintenance:
- Perform industrial maintenance and millwright tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of welding and metal fabrication techniques.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding is preferred.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
- Proficient in operating a forklift.
- Familiarity with structural steel and iron fabrication.
- Experience in industrial maintenance or millwright work is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Good and punctual attendance.
- A strong interest in understanding how things work and a motivation to learn and improve.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
