Your Role as Financial Analyst
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing financial data, creating reports, and managing subcontractor approvals. Your expertise will contribute to key decision-making processes that shape our projects and company success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements of subcontractors to assess creditworthiness.
- Oversee and maintain monthly job reports, including inventory, revenue forecasting, and work-in-progress updates.
- Prepare and present the monthly financial statement dashboard.
- Identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues, delivering actionable insights to accounting management.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial accuracy.
- Perform various accounting duties, such as sales tax reporting, financial statement audits, and internal controls.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in public, corporate, or construction accounting.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PowerBI or Procore experience is a plus).
- Strong ability to read and analyze financial statements for creditworthiness.
