The 3D Specialist role is integral to our sales department, contributing to the realization of Thompson's 3D growth strategy. In this position, you will collaborate closely with both the sales and product support teams, playing a key role in the sales process, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), measurement, and delivery of 3D products. A crucial aspect of this role involves on-site engagements, requiring travel to various branches and customer jobsites. As a 3D Specialist, you will be instrumental in fostering the successful implementation and support of our cutting-edge 3D products, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
- Work safely in a variety of surroundings and underfoot conditions
- Possess strong knowledge of 3D technology on earthmoving equipment
- Understand 3D models and how they interact with the machine technology and components
- Possess excellent computer skills in relationship to 3D technologies
- Troubleshoot 3D problems and issues on heavy equipment
- Possess the knowledge of the 3D application to leverage this technology for the benefit of Thompson Tractor Co and our customers
- Effectively communicate training practices to our employees and our customers
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of cutting edge 3D technologies as they evolve
- Self-starter, reliable and is required to have a high level of follow up in all situations
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and represent the company well in a company vehicle
- Must have the ability to travel with very little notice within the TTCO territory footprint to support our customers
