Our full-time PAID apprenticeship program combines in-person, online and on-the-job learning. At the conclusion of the program, you will be fully prepared for a rewarding career as a Propane Service Technician.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
- Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience for the position. ThompsonGas is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
ThompsonGas Apprentice Program:
- Paid 40 hours per week for the duration of the program
- Receive Sign-on and Completion bonuses
- Receive Completion Pay Increases for each achievement
- Receive Commercial Driver’s Licenses with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- Receive Propane Credentials
- Additional financial assistance for select locations
Required Qualifications:
- Superior customer service skills
- Have a focus on safety with a desire to learn and grow
- Able to lift/pull 50-75lbs
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Mechanically inclined skills are helpful
