The AI Editorial team at Thomson Reuters is looking for individuals with legal practice experience to help provide support for various AI projects across the legal product portfolio for the next several months. Responsibilities include:
- Producing, reviewing, and analyzing legal content and other data to support efforts to leverage AI technology to enhance product offerings.
- Evaluating and analyzing experiment results to identify areas of improvement for model performance, product enhancements, and new product features.
- Supporting efforts to effectively use and integrate LLMs into new product features and enhancements.
- Providing substantive editorial expertise and subject matter knowledge for additional tasks and projects across Practical Law Editorial and the AI Editorial organization.
Candidates must have the following skills and experience:?
- At least three years' experience working as an attorney in a law firm or as in-house counsel with a focus on labor and employment law.
- Analytical and research skills to leverage legal knowledge and experience to support experiments and evaluate outputs.
- Familiarity and comfort with technology and demonstrated interest in emerging technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues through various communication channels.
- Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines and adapt to changing project priorities.
- JD degree from ABA accredited law school.
- Bar admitted in at least one jurisdiction.
- Experience using Practical Law, Westlaw, and other products for legal research.
- Strong academic and professional credentials.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $40-$50/hr USD.
