Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for independently managing construction projects with minimal supervision. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, including bidding, budgeting, contract management, field staff support, change order negotiations, scheduling, procurement, subcontract management, and project closeout. Experience with mission-critical or data center projects is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution : Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of complex construction projects, typically ranging from $5M to $20M in budget.
- Scheduling : Analyze, interpret, and manage construction schedules aligned with contractual obligations. Develop and maintain internal project schedules.
- Contract Management : Review and interpret contract language, identifying risks and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cost Estimation : Assess the value of work, including contract documents, scope changes, and cost-to-complete projections.
- Client Relations : Communicate project plans, updates, and issues effectively with clients while fostering strong relationships for future business opportunities.
- Team Leadership : Collaborate with internal departments, including Virtual Design & Construction, Pre-Construction, Field Operations, and Prefabrication teams, to achieve project goals.
- Budget & Schedule Management : Define project scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining commitments throughout construction and closeout.
- Financial Oversight : Approve vendor and subcontractor invoices, process change orders, and manage cost controls using financial software platforms.
- Documentation : Prepare and manage project documents, including Statements of Values (SOVs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Submittals, and job progress reports.
