What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at THOR Motor Coach?
Thor Motor Coach is looking for quality minded individuals to join our team in Elkhart.
Job Responsibilities:
- Timely auditing and documenting of defects in product based on the line roll schedule
- Ensure all defects are repaired and are verified before each line roll
- Communicate to production employees common defects and work jointly on solutions
- Answer employee questions and help train
- Communicate to other inspectors regarding defects found in their particular area of inspection.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to communicate and coach employees in various areas
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Requires constant movement including in and out of units multiple times per day
- Must have a flexible schedule
