What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor position at THOR Motor Coach?
Thor Motor Coach is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our team. This position will report to the Quality Manager and Plant Manager. To be successful in this role you must have at least 2 years experience in a RV manufacturing plant.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate Quality Processes with the goal of improving Quality efficiencies
- Enforce company and safety policies including PPE enforcement
- Follow and enforce applicable employment laws and partner with Human Resources to handle issues as they arise
- Promote a safe, positive work environment by training, coaching and motivating team members
- Identify and develop leaders within the department
- Work with all team members to produce the highest quality products for our customers
- Display a team oriented attitude
Requirements:
- Strong Leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to identify and develop leaders within the department
- Customer focused attitude/ work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to handle stress, maintain organization and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team setting
- At least 2 years RV experience
- Must have a flexible schedule
