Pharmacy Technician

We are currently seeking a Full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team.

The responsibilities of this position will include but not limited to the following:

• Perform the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, admixture, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs, associated record-keeping and patient charging systems
• Work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Follow proper procedures for the operation of equipment and use of supplies
• Maintain and coordinate systems to ensure that pharmacy operations run efficiently on a day-to-day basis
• Assists via quality control measures in order to identify and rectify problems
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (IDFPR) required
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of previous pharmacy technician experience in a Inpatient and Outpatient required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
