Position: Long-term Substitute Paraeducator for CI Special Education Class
October 1 - December 20, 2024
Monday - Friday
6.75 hours per day
School days only
Qualifications:
1. High School graduate
2. Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide assistance with toileting
2. Assist students with medical needs including, but not limited to, diastat and CPR (will provide training)
3. Needs CPI training (will provide if necessary)
4. Some supervision outside and inside the classroom
5. Have the ability to work positively with students, teachers and parents
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Experience working with secondary school students preferred
8. Willingness to work as part of a team of professionals
Salary : $15
