Position SummaryThornberry Creek at Oneida is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Banquet Servers to provide exceptional food and beverage service at weddings, golf outings, corporate events, and other special occasions. The ideal candidates have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming and seamless event experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities- Set up banquet tables, linens, place settings, and service stations according to event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Assist with clearing tables, removing plates, and maintaining a clean and organized event space.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with banquet staff, event coordinators, and management to ensure smooth event operations.
- Assist in event breakdown and cleanup after service is complete.
- Be knowledgeable about menu items and accommodate guest requests or dietary restrictions as needed.
- Follow all alcohol service laws and assist with beverage service if required.
- Previous banquet or restaurant service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Must be at least 16 years old
