Position SummaryThornberry Creek at Oneida is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Outside Services Attendant to assist with daily golf operations and ensure an exceptional experience for all guests. This role is responsible for greeting players, managing golf carts, maintaining a clean and organized staging area, and providing outstanding hospitality. The ideal candidate is personable, enjoys working outdoors, and is passionate about delivering top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist golfers upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Prepare, stage, and maintain golf carts, ensuring they are clean, charged, and properly stocked.
- Assist with golf bag handling, including loading and unloading from carts.
- Maintain a clean and organized bag drop, cart staging area, and practice facility.
- Provide directions and information to guests regarding course layout, amenities, and policies.
- Assist with tournament and outing setup, including cart organization and special requests.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while engaging with guests.
- Assist in managing pace of play by communicating with golf shop staff and rangers when necessary.
- Ensure proper storage and security of carts and equipment at the end of the day.
- Other duties as assigned to support golf operations and guest experience.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Knowledge of golf operations, etiquette, and basic rules is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving golf carts.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
