What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced EMT - 911 (Full-Time) position at Thorne Ambulance Service?
The AEMT is responsible for the oversight of operational and clinical care associated with their assigned unit, for the duration of their shift. This includes communication with patients, the public, dispatch, hospitals, etc. In addition, the Paramedic will be required to respond to various requests for service and will provide Basic Life support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) care as requested by the PSAP and/or designated communications center. All responses and patient contacts will require the efficient, timely, and accurate completion of patient care reports via an electronic submission method. Other duties may be assigned as availability and organizational needs allow. Above all else, the AEMT will serve with compassion and professionalism.
