POSITION SUMMARY : The Organic Social and Affiliate Specialist will be responsible for managing Thorne’s social media platforms and growing Thorne’s digital community. The Organic Social and Affiliate Specialist will develop and execute brand aligned social-first content, engage with community members, and assist with Thorne’s influencer gifting program. This position will collaborate internally with Digital Marketing, Customer Service, Medical Affairs, and Product teams to report on key learnings / insights to turn into actionable strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES – Satisfactorily performing and / or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job.
- Own day-to-day social media posting and asset dissemination across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Ideate, develop, and implement social-first content that incorporates Thorne’s brand differentiators, generates engagement, and highlights key products.
- Work closely with the Creative Team to produce all social media creative assets, including the creation of short Reel and TikTok videos as well as curate user-generated content.
- Be able to identify emerging social trends and technologies that present new brand growth opportunities and bring learnings to the team.
- Organize and maintain a social content calendar leveraging Thorne’s core content pillars.
- Engage with the digital community, including resharing posts / stories, replying to comments and collaborating with Customer Service & Medical Affairs to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the partnership team to curate content with influencers and assist in outreach for Thorne’s influencer gifting program.
- Continuously review social growth and content performance through reporting tools and lever learnings to optimize strategy.
- Analyze performance of social content – present findings and best practices on monthly basis.
- Work closely with the Public Relations team to manage and optimize the media affiliate program.
