Job Description:
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the operations of residential and commercial properties. Your primary responsibilities will include tenant relations, lease administration, property maintenance coordination, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the leasing process, processing applications, and preparing lease documents.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions and timely completion of paperwork.
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Monitor rent payments, send reminders for overdue balances, and assist with collections as needed.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including tracking expenses and preparing monthly reports.
- Conduct property inspections and follow up on maintenance or repair needs.
- Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and maintaining tenant files.
- Help manage resident relations, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
