As a BDC Agent, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting customers through the sales process to ensure an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to online leads, inbound calls, and emails, promptly and professionally.
- Engage with customers to answer their questions and build value in the vehicle of interest, as well as our dealership, in order to schedule test drives and follow-up communications.
- Assist with lead generation efforts by making outbound calls and sending follow-up emails to customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer needs are met and sales appointments are kept.
- Update and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, building value, and maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals, including call volume and appointment setting.
- Handle all customer inquiries and requests in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a call center environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus but not required.
- Experience in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle and overcome objections professionally and persuasively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
