What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook - Seasonal Part-time position at Thornton Winery?
At Thornton Winery we are excited to be hiring for Line Cooks who are motivated, enthusiastic, and have a distinct need for a job they can take pride in.
You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with taste and timely delivery. You will follow cooking instructions, skillfully move around the kitchen, and be able to multitask.
We are looking for:
- Proven cooking experience as a line or prep cook with 3 years cooking in a restaurant.
- Understanding of various cooking methods and procedures such as grilling, baking, sauté, etc.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Familiar with industry best practices and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work as a team with good communication skills.
- Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some holidays may be required.
