Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in planning, creating, implementing, and evaluating social media marketing and print communications. You will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of various events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly. This position requires strong organizational skills and can work collaboratively with the Banquets and Events Manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee social media accounts - Facebook, Instagram.
- Create and execute email campaigns to promote events and news.
- Design and produce print material for the restaurant, events and concerts
- Manage regular posting schedules of event promotions.
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, including email marketing and social media marketing campaigns.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to the Banquet and Events Manager with tasks related to banquets, events and concerts. Attend events/concerts as scheduled to ensure a smooth start or handle issues that may arise.
- Assist in providing site tours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Strong functional knowledge of social media principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Mac, Adobe Design and Canva.
- Personable and professional with good customer service skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings or weekends as needed for events.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of related marketing/social media experience.
Salary : $25 - $27
