Summary/Objective

The material Handler is responsible for moving, storing and handling materials within the facility. The material handler plays a vital role in the logistics by ensuring product are in their proper places.

The Schedule is Monday - Friday: 12:00pm - 8:30pm, with occasional overtime.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Proficient HI-LO driver (per OSHA MIOSH requirements license must be on person during working hours /and while operating a HILO), and hand truck equipment as necessary for unloading truck and transporting materials
  • Loads, unloads and moves materials using safety equipment, hand trucks, pallet jacks and Hi-Los
  • Maintains inventory records and physical inventories.
  • Adheres to safety practices
  • Consistently satisfy or exceed productivity requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a team based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, and accountability

Work Environment

Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Required to stoop, kneel and crouch.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
